That I don't know about?
I know there is an o-ring on the TB there.

I think I am getting a vacuum leak. I hear a hissing sound from the TB area.
I replaced the UIM/TB gasket and the TB o-ring. Still hissing from there. It's pissing me off.
I check all the stuff around that area. I'm non-seq, so there aren't that many hoses around.

 

Your right, there is only supposed to be the oring.
Did you elimnate the double throttle?
It's posible that the bolt plugging the hole is loose if you have done that mod.
Its probably somthing right under your nose.

I didn't eliminate the double throttle. Only disabled it. Capped the actuator thing there.
Could the hissing be coming from the air bleed screw?
How tight is it supposed to be on? How many turns from the close position? Anyone know?

 

i know FD3SBoost know almost everything about FD's but just to verify one more time there is NO gasket between the TB and elbow.

 

BINGO!!
If it is pretty close to being shut, it will hiss.
There's not really any "right" position for it to be in as long as your idle is where it is supposed to be.
