Well that car is not an Amemiya car. The hood is a Knights sports type hood. The sides are Amemiya, the wing seems higher than the Amemiya wings I have seen and the bumper is the old version of the AD Facer.

And what is your question exactly?>

This is not an RE kit. The reason you have not seen this kit is because it has multiple pieces, likely non original, that have been modified from original designs used on RE, and Knightsport cars. I dont mind the look though.

You won't find many people that have that front bumper, most have the updated AD facer with the '99 spec turn signals.

I know that "diyman25" has the AD GT kit on though.

To me it looks like the AD GT kit from RE... Look at this kit. It is exactly like this but not the frontbumper. It is from an older model on my car...

Not sure what you mean by this post, but a VERY nice find in the link.

If you ask me, your car is still RE-Amemiya because of the front bumper and AD GT kit. The hood and spoiler don't make the car not RE Amemiya...it's just not a complete RE Amemiya kit.

There still aren't many people that have it. The ppl that i know of regardless of where they live are;

1. You
2. diyman25
3. cmsprofessor
4. 7envy

I'm sure there are more.

7envy has the front part of the AD kit.... as you can see from the fenders and sideskirts, its not the AD GT kit thats on they other cars.

i know... ive been fiending for the GT AD kit for a while..

choice is RE-A GT AD or FEED fenders and sideskirts.... so far is FEED, because GT AD is going to cost atleast $1800 and the FEED is going to be around $1-1.2k

There are just a handfull of people here in the US with that kit. I have been waiting for someone to make a replica but, i havent seen one yet. RotaryExtreme used to have some replica front and sides (different than the ones pictured). but they only had it for a few months and that was a few years ago.

Maybe ShineAuto might make one....I can only hope!

Front is not the same but there are similarities. Kind of pricey for what it is also.

Kai's car looks a little like this. I also think JT-import's old car might have looked like this too.

He's under-going a change right now, but that's his old setup. Doesn't look anything like the N1 facer.

Ahh, good call...how could i have forgotten him. That was the only RE Amemiya part though, i think he just had rolled fenders up front, and some sort of wide fenders on the rear.

I have a few tuner mags from like 2003 or so and their was an orange fd that was the first in N.A. to have a true RE kit, I can't remember if it was the exact one off of the fd that was the circuit winner or not, but I do know that the car was on all of the mag covers and it was the first to sport the kit in this hemisphere

Kai's doesn't really look anything like the 1st car. Not sure what I was thinking.

I almost got that exact kit..but I cant remeber who but there is somebody on the forum with that exact kit...that is the reason I went with this kit since there is nobody in the U.S. with it as far as the front bumper goes.

The owner's name was Jay Laub. It was a widebody pearlescent orange car with the exact re-jgtc3000 body kit found on the race car.

Hey Janus,
There was a guy named Allen Chan in CA. He had a full RE-A kit with a Scoot hood. I have some magazine photo's when it was in the Oct 2003 issue of Sports Compact Cars. Maybe someone has internet pictures from the States? It's was Yellow tuned by XS Engineering with 435hp.
