is there any 117 amp Alternator will fit?

Did anyone try to fit a 117 amp alternator into their FD? Any idea which one will fit? Please let me know, I would like to swap my dead alternator. Thanks all.

get your stock alt rebuilt and redone to put out 117+ amps. be the best option so that way you know it fits.

I'm not quite sure on the output of mine but I had it rebuilt by a local shop. I know at idle with the slightly smaller pulley they put on its output was greater than 100. Cost me about 250. If you can't find anyone there you could always send it to me and I'll have the same guy do it.

yea, i'm not sure where you can get it, rx7tt95, had a place modify a V6 camaro alternator to put out 200 amps, and there was very little modification to fit it, he even said you can still use the greddy belt, if you have the underdrive kit.

harrison

here is a link..... a company called startech makes it.
