Thank you....

...and screw the others.

Hey guys.....of course, my "hey" is ONLY directed at those people who were both objective enough and supportive enough to give me constructive opinions (JimmyJimboJet, tfhuth, Viper jr and others) about my last post (brushed aluminum door handles)....those others have obviously validated the theory that a flashy car is making up for some SHORTcoming in their unfullfilled lives.
BUT I digress. I only thought it necessary to say that I am grateful for those of you offering information on my inquisition.....A BIG THANK YOU....modifications ARE best left up to the individual tastes and I wholeheartedly agree with those who encourage each to follow their own path and not do what EVERYONE else is doing. I was merely looking for photos and info to assess whether I thought they'd be a nice addition to my vehicle. I WASN'T looking for sarcasm and chauvinism.
None of you know me outside of the fact that an FD is part of my life, and none of you will. I certainly don't need to divulge to any of you personal information, or have a spitting contest to feel "one of the guys". All I'll say is that if you DID know me, you'd know a published college graduate and accomplished artist. You'd know someone who, with the exception of ONE repair, has done EVERY major mechanical job on three previous vehicles without assistance. You'd know someone who, like you, appreciates the open road in a sophisticated vehicle. AND finally, you'd know someone who HAPPENS to be a GIRL.
(duchi) As for the hair and makeup comment? That's not even worth the rebuttle.....you DO know what 'rebuttle" means, don't you? Probably too many syllables for you.........
So, in closing, AGAIN-THANX guys, for your help.......I DO have to say the jerks here make me hesistant to bother with more questions or comments about FDs, but I DO know I might expect a few worthwhile comments from the gentlemen.
Happy driving........................................... ..........
-Kristine

Not everything in life will be as shinny as those crome door handles. Outside the perfect leather interior of life is a world full of opinions and thoughts. If your not ready to open the door and allow those to enter your life, then your not ready for this forum.

Hey. I am sorry for any comments recieved by some members of this forum. We, just like every other forum, have our ********. It is just part of what we have to deel with. I particularly find this forum very helpful in it that its size is so large that we have many different opinions and many different situations so that almost anything that could happen to this car has most likely already happened to someone on this forum. Again I am sorry if your first experience here wasn't a good one but don't let that discourage you from coming back. I am sure you have some great questions and input for everyone and it can be very helpful. Congratulations on your purchase of the 7 if you just recently bought it and please stay with us on the forum
