haven't had my FD long enough to see the injectors yet but have done a lot of cleaning of stuck injectors on bmw k bikes

BIG WARNING

i have no idea how this relates to RX7 injectors, but if you're feeling like a little bonding time with your squirters you could do something like this

to test them i use 12 volts applied to the 2 connectors on the injector body and make sure they click open and closed whenever power is applied/removed
a happy injector is a tappy injector
gummed up injectors don't click!

leaving a stuck injector soaking in kerosene overnight will often soften the gum so that clicking it again with 12volts will eventually clear the injectors

to clear them more, once they are clicking, i clamp them onto the end of a suspended 3foot length of clear garden hose, fill the hose with kero and connect up the injector to 12volts

3foot of kero should provide enough pressure to run a stream out of the held open injector, if it only drips then they are still partially blocked but will provide enough gas, when installed back in the engine, to start the bike and allow me to run some injector cleaner through them along with the regular gas

oh, and to correct flow you are supposed to have them squirt into a container for a set length of time and check to see how much they put out...

i've never had to do this, if i get anything out of them they will normally run the engine at idle and allow me to put some cleaner through them...if that doesn't do it then they need professional cleaning

This is good info. I never thought about using kerosene.
