Question Smell gas near alternator? - already did research..:)

I can smell gas top of alternator while car is running.. it's like alternator is blowing gas smell... any idea? I don't smell anywhere near turbo... also smell when i am in full boost, full thr..

Also.. What i smell all the sudden after vac hose job???? I did touched one fuel line but i put it back correctly..

If I were you I wouldnt even drive the car till you figure out the prob and fix it

The fuel lines run across the top of the motor. They enter the engine compartment near the oil filter and then cross over to the fuel rails on the lower intake manifold. You likely have a leak in one of them or around an injector.

thanks alot for information but i have few more questions... I remember, I touched a aluminum check valve when i did vac job at home. What is that matter with fuel smell? Is fuel actually going through that valve?

no just air. i would pull of the fuel lines and inspect them for any tears/leaks.

Should have replaced them while you were in there... well back to the drawing board I guess... could be lines... o-rings... FPD... connection lind between rails... maybe its just you... have fun!
