Test Drive Done!! Suggestion PLZ!

Took the car for a test drive, it was awesome! seems the biggest problem with the rx-7 is the 2nd turbo does not work at all, and at idle the 2nd turbo just rattles like a ****! guy said the turbo is blown and needs a complete rebuild, he said he will get it fixed before he sells it to me! another problem is the rx-7 pulls to the right when driving straight, i figure a alignment will fix this problem. car idles at 750-800 after warm up, 1st boost comes in smoothly, he has manual boost controller it was set at 8psi due to the 2nd turbo being blown out, so he kept it low. temp was right below middle. he has 5th gear grinding. car ran nice and hard, couldn't find any other major problems. i plan on buying it and then having this mods added to the car the 1st week please give me your opinions please:
Mods He has:
Downpipe
HKS SSQV Bov
Boost Gauge

Mods I will Add:
Upgrade Turbo's
Aluminum AST
Apexi Intake System
HKS Ti Carbon Exhaust
HKS Turbo Timer w/harness
Silicone Vacuum Hoses
New Fuel Filter
New Thermostat
Trans Fluid & Diff Fluid With Redline
Flush Coolant System
PWR Radiator

With these mods will I have a nice reliable ride for a good amount of time?

you need to rethink your mods and slow down. wait till you have the car in your possession. Keep it the way it is for a bit because there is bound to be some other more pressing things that will need to be taken care of. Not to mention...you don't have an ECU on that mod list...which you have to have for all those mods you plan to put on, or else you can add "new engine" to the list.

As for pulling to the right. An alignment could do that, but why the hell hasn't the seller had it taken care of if that is the problem? I'd be curious of it being in an accident. If not, tell him to have it aligned before buying it.

Have the pulling problem checked by a mechanic. It could definitely be more than just an alignment. Don't just assume a simple alignment. Why upgrade the turbos right away if the seller is going to get the current pair rebuilt. Switch that cost to a computer, ARMAAM4 is right. Then get upgraded turbos after everything else is done.

before you buy this car make sure that turbo problem is fixed. also have an accident report done on the car. the pulling to the right may be a serious problem like amraam4 said.
as for your list, id go with reliability mods first. which include:
turbo timer, ast, fuel filter, flush all fuids, spark plugs and wires, brakes checked, and depending on how many miles it has on it, you may need to do more.
after that, then start doing your basic upgrades that will also add longer life to your engine and add horsepower.
downpipe, cat, , ecu(a must after 2 or 3 mods) intake, boost controler, and the rest is all you.

To tell you the truth, I'd look elsewhere for another FD. This one sounds like you'll be buying another person's bag of troubles, even though he claims they'll be "fixed" when you buy it. If he doesn't have enough pride in ownership to have the car running at least halfway decently when you test drive it, what makes you think he's going to make good on "fixing it" when you come back for it? People can always say they'll "rebuild the turbos when you come back"-- have you ever seen how hidden they are in the engine bay? He could probably find a used set somewhere for a couple hundred bucks that are possibly getting ready to die at any minute, slap them on, and you'd never know the difference. With regards to the gearbox, once a synchro starts grinding, it'll only get worse. And the pulling problem could be much more than just alignment.

Do yourself a favor: be patient, find the right FD, and don't be in such a hurry to modify (other than reliability mods) your car. Get to know it first, so that you'll be better able to understand what's happening when something simple goes wrong.

yes, Kento touched on the one point I forgot...the synchros. Those aren't going to get better, and correct me if I am wrong, but you are probably looking at almost $1k for those to be fixed by a shop.
