Temporary fix for a silicone 90 degree reducer elbow 2.5'' to 2''.

Hi,

I started converting my car single turbo at the beginning of July. Now we're at the end of september, winter is coming really quick and we're completing our project. I just ordered the last part we need: a reducer silicon elbow (FMIC to turbo). 2 more weeks to wait... do you guys have an idea of which temporary fix I can do?

unless you want to get really creative with some metal tubing on your own the plumbing section is probably your best bet for the short haul. Just make sure boost is turned down/off and you'll be fine.

Go to a muffler shop that does custom exhausts. Tell them you need a piece of 2 inch exhaust piping of whatever length, but you want them to flare one side out to 2.5" using their pipe expander. You could even have them put a 90 degree crush bend into it.
