temp gauge install... stock sensor??

Can you do it? I've got an autometer electric gauge, but no sender.....

help, or does anyone know where i can buy the part i need?

You could order a new sending unit from Jegs.com or call em 800-345-4545 they should have a sending unit. And I wouldn't use the stock sensor for it, different ohm sensor. You could use the sending unit you get from jegs and put it in the W/P filler neck, just remove the stock hex plug and get yourself a Sunpro metric adaptor kit from Advance Auto parts or your local parts distributor. Then you'll see the engine temp. at it's absolute highest before it goes into the radiator. Good luck
