Tell me what my wankel is doing. :)

ok, so I changed my plugs today and I was running 4 B9EGV's. My car smoked a little less than it did before, but it is still smoking on startup. And I didnt really get much smoke at all until I blipped the throttle a little bit to keep the engine from dying.

pictures are below, tell me what you think.

Those plugs look pretty bad, mainly the 1st pic. Whats done to the car and what is it doing exactly? What color is the smoke?

These plugs have ~1000 miles on them. I changed them last time I changed my oil.

mods:
intake / stock twins (non-seq) @14 psi / M2 medium sized SMIC / double throttle removed and bar removed / stock port engine (NEW reman with ~7k miles) / downpipe / hi-flow cat / cat back/ Twin stock fuel pumps / 1300cc secondary injectors / all block off plates / fluidyne rad.

thats most of it, I think. thats all that should matter anyways for the purpose of this thread.

Smoke is blue. I dont lose coolant, and the smoke doesnt smell sweet. It smells like rotary exhaust...slight oil smell with fuel and the normal burn your eyes symptoms. lol.

my wideband shows 11.0 - 11.5 at idle. 12.5 - 14.5 cruising. 10.5-11.1 at WOT.

oh...and I knew I forgot something. I have a power FC that has been tuned.

compression is 115+ psi on all 6 faces.

it usually only stops smoking completely (undetectable to me looking for it) after a few WOT runs...it also idles very nicely at that point as well.

I also have several posts in the following thread describing my problems.

I am using two K&Ns recently cleaned and oiled (the problem started with this engine though and not with my filters). I have heard some good things about the B9/10EGV's and thought I would give them a try. I installed 4 BUR9EQ's today though.

I don't see anything wrong other than little more crap on your plugs than I usualy would, only seen that when I did few runs without an air filter.

Not white enought to show lean conditions, the whole plug should be real white if he was running lean and as you can see both leading plugs show that he's running enough fuel.

That might have something to do with it. BTW how long were you running these plugs? Have you noticed any difference over the OEM's?

Those plugs have 1000 miles on them. I have maybe 3000 miles of experience with these plugs. I didnt really notice much difference at all. Just kinda the same. The B9EGV's are a dollar cheaper than the stockers though.
