THE bolt s go through the pan where it is flush with the block so you remove the 3 bolts on each and no oil will gush out , drain it any way , that is not hard. remove the nut on the other end through the sub frame . Jack the motor up and swap in the new. Put in the 6 bolts and lower the motor. the angle of the mounts will not let the studs go through the sub frame holes but there is a slot near the hole that a screwdriver will go in , to pry the motor mount in to position to let the stud go into the hole. replace nut .easy but some time to do.

Make sure you clean the sealant out of the bolt holes in the block with a thread cleaner and add new sealant to the threads of the motor bolts that go through the pan. If you don't clean out that sealant you could get a situation where the bolt effectively bottoms out and something can break. New sealant will keep the oil in the pan from working its way down the threads which can cause a leak.

What kind of sealant is used on the bolt threads ??? I've got a motor I'm getting ready to put in the car and and wasn't sure if it was anti-sieze lubricant or what. Thanks, Jack

No it's a gasket sealant like a permatex.

Arrow Exactly like permatex

You will understand when you get the tube and get a little on your fingers. Permatex is some pretty nasty stuff that will definetly seal the threads from oil leaks.

The specific type of stuff, affectionatly called Gorilla Snot, is Form-A Gasket Sealant, number 2. I have a tube in front of me, medium sized, mostly white with an orange 2, part number 2B, Permatex.

Should be able to get it at any auto part store.

Best of luck, working on mine next weekend. Bad seal on the bolt on my left mount, small drops of oil leaking from it. Thats what you get when you have someone else do the work for you!!
