Tein hood dampers installed *pics
I just got these the other day and installed them. I finally took some pictures.
I like these dampers a lot, they are very strong and holds the hood up nicely. The install was very easy as well. It probably took 30 minutes. Cost me about 125 bucks after ship from raceonusa which is not too bad i guess.

Sorry if the pictures took a long time to load...When i first posted this i forgot the pictures were so huge but i just moved them to my faster server

The shock's "arm" should be extending towards the bottom, not the top. Just flip them around and put some more of the supplied "loc-tite" on.
**edit** I understand the mistake since the supplied directions are written in F.O.B. language and make absolutely no sense.

I wasn't feeling the green either and painted it black. The green is easy to "chip" off but it was a huge PITA. I ended up just painting over the green on the second one after sanding and attempting to "polish" the first. I think it would look awesome polished....just took me too much time.
