Tein flex with EDFC: Motors hit your hood?

My EDFC motors seem to be very close to hitting my hood. They are most definitely hitting the hood-liner. They just seem to be sitting way too high. Does anyone know if I can unscrew the top bolt, and if that will subsequently lower the main shaft that the motors sit on? something tells me that wont work. -Heath

Before i purchase an re-amameyia ad9r , or replica type I want to confirm if these rumors are true. I have also heard that the little step motors are now smaller from TEIN with their now kits and allow for more clearance, can someone chime in and let me know.
