I've narrowed my second turbo boost problem down to being the TCA solenoid. I was looking for the part # becuase i know if i go to mazda and tell them i need a TCA solenoid for a 3rd gen rx-7, it'll confuse the hell outta those poor bastards. Is this the actual item i need?

do you see the actuator plunge when the key is turned? if not, it might be bad. sometimes they get stuck and need a little lube....you can see the thing from under the car, it is about the size of the coke can. you can see the action of it if you have the intake piping or the sir box out, the arm should move forward when the key is turned....hope that helped.

 

I know what it is and what it is supposed to do, my first post may have been unclear, all i wanted to know is if the thing on page 1-c4 of the attached document is actually the TCA solenoid? Is it, anyone?
