tapping the stock fuel rails

well planning to put a external FPR and i was wondering if you guys help me choose what tipe of line can use, and i was thinking to use a 3/8 to -6 fittings, is that ok? and do i need 3/8 tapper or i need to go higher? thanks

I think for the rail it's 1/4 X 18 NPT and 5/16" high pressure fuel line.
