Tapping Parking Brake/Vehicle Speed/Reverse Sensor Wiring Question
Hi all,
I'm installing a double DIN head unit in my FD, and I'm down to the final 3 wires: the parking brake sensor, vehicle speed sensor, and the reverse sensor. I've done a lot of searching and reading but haven't yet come up with the most practical way to tap into these wires.
What I understand to be the most common points of access:
I've already dislodged the gauge hood, but after about 10 minutes trying to get one connector off, I decided to potentially find a better way.
Thanks in advance for any tips on this.

What I understand to be the most common points of access:
- Parking brake sensor: available at the gauge cluster in connector C1-01 as the brown/yellow wire or at the parking brake in connector C1-10 as the light green wire.
- Vehicle speed sensor: available at the gauge cluster in connector C1-01 as the yellow/red wire or at connector X-14 as the yellow/red wire.
- Reverse sensor: available at connector X-14 as the red wire or at X-19 as the red wire.

Parking brake I'd just get to the wire from the brake itself, you're already there if you're doing stereo stuff.
VSS, probably get that from the ECU.
Reverse not sure about.
