Just install the clutch and pressure plate like normal to the flywheel. Use a clutch alignment tool and make SURE the clutch is centered nicely - that makes reinstalling the tranny far easier.

Once you get the tranny back in the car, look through the inspection plate and use a long screwdriver or something to pop the throwout bearing into the pressure plate. It will click and snap in nicely. If you don't, you'll have a fight if you push the clutch pedal down without the bearing engaged.

Also, when reinstalling the tranny, get the front of the engine jacked up. The front of the engine sags downward on the motor mounts with the tranny out of the car. I've used a piece of wood on the oil pan and a jack in the past - you have to be VERY careful not to damage the oil pan. Using an engine hoist on the front engine hanger is the easiest, cleanest way. That will make reinstalling the tranny FAR easier.

thanks for the response dale... i used a metal bar to prop the engine between the alternator and part of the frame, it helped on taking it out, so i will leave it on re-installation... so just put the clutch on, and bolt the tranny up... will it just slide in... or will i have to struggle with the stupid fork thing, it was a bitch coming out, i just wanna know if its gonna be a bitch going in

Just make sure you have the ring and collar seated exactly right, and it will click in like buttah. I recommend you test fit these parts to the pressure plate _before_ you put in the tranny. If these parts don't lock exactly right, it will pop loose while driving and you'll have to drop the tranny again.

You can test the ring and collar on the pressure plate when it's all off the car, or when the pp is bolted to the flywheel. Edit: you'll also need the throwout bearing to assemble these parts. If it's working right, you will be able to pull on the throwout bearing with all your strength and the ring and collar will hold it to the pressure plate.

If the ring or collar is bent or distorted, buy new ones. You can try to restore the shape to them, but if it's more than a minor bend, get a new part. Mazda recommends new ones every time. When it goes together right, you'll know it.
