Taking the spoiler off the rx?
I've been trying to take my spoiler off my FD and it just doesn't want to come off. I've taken the screws off and tried taking it off but it's stuck down there good. Is their a special way of take it off? How do I take it off without ripping the paint off?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Mine was only held on by the four screws but don't expect the paint to be good under it. When mine came off the paint was pretty bad where the spoiler touched the hatch.
Good luck. . . .

There's four screws on the outside of the wing and four connecting points on the inner struts as well, the front two on the inner struts are nuts, and the rear are press in plastic pieces. Depending on if it's been remounted by someone other than factory may have been put on with a double sided tape where it contacts the trunk to wing can't say for sure but a possibillity.

Not the company
I had the same problem when i tried to take mine off. I got the screws, but it wouldn't budge at all. Didn't want to just rip the spoiler off, so i have the screws back in, but one is missing. Guess i shifted it enough to cause the holes to mis-align. Anyway, i guess it's not easy when your paint is old.

When I pulled my R1 spoiler off I unscrewed 8 screws and gave it a hell of a jerk in the upward motion about 3 times and off it came.
I actually like it better without the spoiler. But hey atleast I get the option of on and off when it suits the mood I'm in. :-)
Cheers
