take off the bumper?

well my engine is out of the car and while im waiting for money to buy the rebuild kit i was goign to take off the bumper and see were i can put my intercooler. it looks like you cant take off the bumper without having the lights up, i cant get my lights up because i dont have a battery... or wiring harness to put the battery in.

You can manually lift them by turning the red ***** on the headlights motor. I think they have a rubber dust cap on them though.

Yah, just look for black rubber caps...they're pretty big caps actually once you see them. EZ to adjust.

You can actually get it off without the lights up... I went thru the fender liner to get the one screw at the back of the bumper and the two nuts on the front by the lights... The one nut by the light that angles, I got off by going thru the hole for the blinker on the front... I just looked thru the cracks on the top to see what I was doing... It was a piece of cake...
