Take A Look At Your Headlight Covers!
I know that this topic has been covered in the past, but I haven't seen it mentioned recently, so here it goes...
I was driving on the interstate the other day and I "may" have been exceeding the speed limit slightly. Anyway, I was about to abuse a "ricer", who deserved it by the way, and I began to notice that my driver's side headlight cover started to flutter violently. So, I immediately slowed down and returned home. I popped the hood, looked behind the light, and what do I see...the whole cover is cracked all the way through from side to side (right above the two screws). Not only that, but one of the tabs (under the black cover) is cracked all the way through as well. So I did some research on the forum and noticed that this was a common problem. I don't remember who mentioned it, but he recommended using PCV cement as the solution. So, I picked up some at Lowe's today, removed both covers, and went to work on them. I have to say that the repair was extremely easy and I recommend the PCV cement, especially for the ease of application. That "cotton ball" type applicator made it so easy to apply generous amounts of cement on the cracks. I pieced each cover back together and applied liberal amounts of cement for a couple of coats. Everything went back together very easily and the most difficult part (which wasn't very hard) was adjusting the covers to sit flush with the hood.
By far the best hour I spent on a simple repair. Almost as simple as an engine harness repair! Just joking.
For those that have not looked at your headlight covers recently, I would recommend that you take a look at yours, and perform this simple repair before your covers fly off (like mine almost did).
Rotor on!!!

Wow I didn't know you could repair them! At the risk of being a leech... I have a freshly painted black headlight cover that's broken in the same manner. NO other damage (esp. on the exterior surface) that I don't need. I didn't know they could be repaired, so I just bought a new one, had it painted, and put it on. So if anyone wants a headlight cover cracked as mentioned above, but otherwise in great condition (w/ fresh high quality black paint!) for CHEAP, lemme know! (PM me so I don't take away from this thread)

Excellent advice... I lost my passenger's side cover a week ago. It was fluttering a bit and I saw that it was cracked on one side. I ignored it for awhile, then had it fly up, up, and away... argh!
Anyone have a spare passenger's side cover in montego blue? :-)
