Question tail light wiring harness replacement?

hi all -

i'm getting the car ready for MD inspection and noticed that the brake lights are doing some crazy things. i took apart the tail lights and discovered a few corroded sockets. i ordered a new set of tail light wiring harnesses (thanks Ray!)... set out to swap them out... simple plug-n-play.

i can't seem to reach the connector. i don't know if i'm not pulling the wires hard enough or if i have to remove some interior panels from the hatch to get to the connector.

does anyone have any experience with this? thanks!

You should have to remove the rear interior trim to get to the connector for that harness.
