T55 torex Bolt on Tranny???
I found my mystery tranny fluid leak. My Torex plug above the filler plug is really loose and leaking. Does anyone know what this plug is for? I heard that it may have something to do with an adjustment, so I don't want to just tighten it for the hell of it.
Please help.

um, that would be the tranny fill hole, you put fluid in there til it's full. and yes, you wanna make sure it's pretty tight, unless ya want tranny fluid everywhere

The torex plug is not the fill plug. The fill plug is a square drive plug. Read this thread

If you fill fluid up to the torex plug, you have gone too far.
