Yeah that was awesome ....
That looks like the hks transmission shifter, the height is right, looks like the **** has been changed...
Thats the spl version of the T51r, a little bigger than the kai, Hard to tell if its the Bb version though, spools nicely.....
I am running my first hks spec'd turbo, I got to say, hks knows very well how to balance a turbine to compressor when it comes to wheel size , a/r and trim, even though there are alot of turbos that are very close to hks specs, they seem to have somevery good combinations figured out.. I have a the original T51s turbo running on my partial bridge now, its the same wheel specs as the kai, but with a regular t04 flange instead of the oddball v band of the kai. Its a huge turbo compared to the standard t04e and other variants, but it spools fast, I have no problems building boost below 3000 rpm in 3rd gear, even in 1 and 2nd gear its easy to build boost, I am still doing break in so I am not crossing 40% throttle... It moves a ton of air, even below 0 psi, I am maxing out the 720 primaries at 5500 rpm...I use to be critical of the HK$ stuff, but it does make alot of power, and works well...
I was trying to look at the ksp fd video as well but just get 404 on the movie link....Here is the link in case its just down temporarily..Max

Just so you know, HKS=Over priced Garrett. Sure they're a little worked with some custom trims, but I would never pay $3,000 for a freaking turbo. A TA45 works just as well for about 1/6 the cost. A GT42R is also nice if you want to go the ballbearing route.

Thats why you never buy new .....
I am willing to pay bit more though, as I know now when hks says it will do xxx, that it will do xxx... The boost response from the T51s is just about as good as my old garrett p trim t04e...I can't complain, I paid 550.00 canadian for mine, I can't even buy the ebay cheapey's for that....If I see another used HKS T51, I will buy it in a heartbeat...Max

The bar hardly touches my chest let alone bounce off it.
