Since this is mostly a USA-specific board...

FC3S had a convertible model released as a 1992 model.
See Jack Yamaguchi book for more details.

Yes, the FD3S was released in Japan as a 1992 model.

This does cause some confusion.

So you bought a JDM FD, that has been repainted and has a single turbo? Not to be harsh but I hope you had someone take compression numbers and actually look over the car. I was looking into a JDM one too, but some of the stuff that comes over is going to cost an arm an leg to fix, but with the right deal, I suppose you can over look that.
Where do you live because you will have to get a tune to account for the elevation difference. Have any more pics? i like the blue.

it has not been repaired, but changed color, the car was tuned by trial, they are very popular in japan so i trust them ( know to produce 500 hp rx7's), i've bought a few cars from japan and nothing really too big to fix exept the usual stuff to pass the OOP inspection to get it registered ( brakes/ sway bar link/ball joint tires sometimes ) normal cheap stuff for a 15 year old car. I really think there was things that my seller did not mention because he said aftermarket 550 injectors, but whats the point of that if there is a giant single turbine.. anyways i will have my mechanic see if there is a fuel pump/fuel management, I live in calgary heres more pics see if any controllers make give you hints
