I don't see why he feels he needs to sell it. I got married back in March and selling my RX-7 was never something in my mind. My wife loves the car even though she doesn't drive it. She just enjoys riding in it.

Hell, if he's got the money to do all that do his RX-7, it shouldn't be a matter of money being the reason for needing to sell it..
