Synth oil vs. MOP vs. engine life

I know there's been posts about using different types of oil, but with all the searching i did, i couldn't find the exact answer i was looking for. I was talking to a guy on another forum about running synthetic in my rotary. He said that the only way I should use it, is to eliminate the MOP and premix. I was under the assumption it was okay to run it just like normal. His case was that the synthetic won't burn and eventually leave hazardous deposits on the rotors. Can someone with a lot of experience please touch up on this? I'd like some insight so to not damage my new engine. Thanks in advance

Synthetics do burn, but at a higher flash point.

500 - 600 degrees for most synthetics........
