SX external fuel pump...?

I'm looking into a fuel pump upgrade and I like the idea of an external pump. Those of you running the SX pump, how do you like it? Also, is there a write up somewhere on how to install it?

Why not go with a drop in Denso,Walbro or Bosch pump??? Do you really plan on making that much power that you need something that big and sounds like you have a damn blender in your car?

I want something that'll be able to support some good power. I'm only shooting for 340RWHP for now but eventually I'd like to get to the 400+ range. If it sounds that loud though, I might stick with a stock location one. How much power can the stock units support?

i use the aeromotive A1000. if those are the numbers you are looking for.... go with a drop in pump. yes it does sound like a blender or small helicopter in your car.

i have the SX pump in my car. it is not noisy at all. a slight hum. if you want noisy get a weldon pump. dear god its louder than the exhaust. i am very happy with my pump. no problems yet and has enough flow for 459rwhp...... i need to get back on the dyno!

I have the SX as well. It just hums unless my gas gets low. Then it begins to make an annoying pulsing noise. I have no problem with it though. I just keep gas in the tank.
