Question Sway bar end-links -- are they supposed to have a slight curve to them?

Does anyone have a profile shot of the sway bar end links? I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a slight bowing on them or not.

Yes they have curve to them, you can see in the pic from when I was changing mine that they have a very specific curve. Its hard to tell but if you look close you can see that the one on the left (my driver side) is actually shorter because it was bent like a "C" from age and god knows what from the previous owner.

They are supposed to have a slight twist in them along the length but no curve.

+1

I just had mine off last week. They are both suposed to look like the one on the right in the above pic. The curved one on the left has been damaged/bent.

Page R-24 of the manual gives the correct orientation and which side to attach them to, hopefully minimise any notching of the lower wishbone too.

Yes, just make sure the L and the R are not upside down!

You need to look at the sway bar mounts as well. If your links are bent, there's a good chance the sway bar mounting brackets are bent as well.

I'd switch out your swaybar mount while your at it, those swiss cheese stock units bent like crazy on my car.
