Swapping ABV and CRV valves??
I've been having issues where I sometimes loose boost from my second turbo and I found the CRV valve to be faulty. I've already bought another valve, but in the mean time I read in one of the troubleshooting guides that it's okay to swap the CRV valve with the ABV/BOV valve?
I was going to swap them to see how the car reacts, but I wanted to make sure if it's really okay to do that? I don't want to swap them and then blow the good ABV/BOV valve.
Also, I think for some reason my car might have 2 CRV valves anyway. I've seen pictures and the stock ABV/BOV valves are usually Black. But instead my car has 2 Brown valves. The labels on both of them have peeled off so I can't see what it says on there.
So if anyone can help me out with that I'd appreciate it. Thanks,

That I knew, I wanted to know if I swap them temporarily if it'll cause any other problems?
But also now I don't even know if either of them are ABV/BOV valves since both the ones that are on there are Brown colored?

Usually the brown one is CRV and black one is ABV.... that is in my case. And when I order the new CRV and ABV, the CRV was brown and ABV was black... so you probably have two CRVs. I have a stock 1999 Jap Rx7. Hope this will help you a little.

Even then, unless you test them using a MityVac or something, you won't know if they were originally installed in the proper locations if the labels are gone. To be honest, the differences are so minor that I doubt you would notice much of a difference if they are swapped.
