Suspension Woes
Okay, stock 121k struts/springs/bushings...I am sure that accounts for the following:
My rear suspension (especially my rear drivers) squeaks severely to no end, especially on bumps. I weigh 159, and it squeaks when I get in and out. If I push down on the rear bumper...the car will squat...and stay there! If I pull back up in the bumper...it comes up and stays there....is that more of a bushing issue? I wouldn't think so...I would thing worn bushings would not allow such stiffness. I assume it to be the stock suspension setup. Any recommendations on a good street setup...no autocross or racing...just street. Will a new set of stock struts hold up with aftermarket springs well? I really don't see a need for adjustable coilovers since I am just street use. Thanks for the opinions....

Sounds like it may be time to freshen up your suspension. At the very least, you should probably get new shocks ($350 or so for Konis or the like; OEM are about the same), shock mounts ($250), and pillowball bushings ($400). May not hurt to get all the a-arm rubber bushings ($700), differential ($100), and trailing arm and toe link bushings ($200) too. A cool $2k in parts. Add another $1k or so for installation and alignment. End-links and anti-roll bushings may be tired too.
