Where I Live The Road Is Bad,although There Is A Pitch Lake.
I Want My Rx7 To Ride Much Smoother.
Tell Me What Type Of Shocks And Spring To Use.

There are adjustable shocks, such as the ones linked above. You'd have to ask someone who has them. (Maybe they'll post here.) I'm not sure if on their softest setting they're any softer than the standard stock RX-7 shock absorber.

There are coil over shock combos, but they're usually aimed at performance, so they tend to be on the firmer side. I think Peter Farrell (sp?) had a progressive rate spring in his spring / shock combo....so the initial compression of the spring was softer than stock. But I believe Farrell has gone out of the RX-7 business, so this part may be very difficult to find. The Farrell , or other, progressive rate spring would be your best bet to soften up the ride a little without compromising performance, but it is a sportscar afterall, and it can only go so far in handling rough roads.

I'd stay away from any hydraulics. In my opinion, the suspension of the car is too finely tuned to stand that sort of radical modification.

Sorry. The second link above doesn't work. Do a Google search on Tokico Illumina and you'll get it. Speedycarparts claims to have cheap prices. I can't vouch for them, but it's a place to start.
