Super seal question

What is the difference between 2mm & 3mm super seal ? Which one I need?
Also what other seals I need to buy to put it back together.

Thanks

The 3mm seals require that you machine the rotors to fit the thicker seals, assuming you have not done this you need the 2mm ones.

As I understand it, 3mm seals, in general, are (read: should only be) used when a rotorŽs apex seal groove has been compromised in such a way that 2mm seals wonŽt fit tightly enough to maintain suggested clearances. I wouldnŽt consider 3mm seals unless you NEEDED to because of the situation I previously mentioned.

Jumping up to 3mm seals solely "because power" is a bandaid imo. Proper setup and a good tune should allow AMPLE power to be run with 2mm seals in a street car.

As far as the question of "what else will I need"... youŽll need the same additional seals you would otherwise: 6 corner seals per rotor, 6 side seals per rotor, and the stock springs all around (you donŽt need to use special apex seal springs with the "Supe Seals", the stockers will work just fine).
