Smile Sunshades (94, 95) not being used? :)

Ok people. I live in Texas or maybe it is my lack of a huge forehead, but the sun comes in just right through my glass sunroof right into my eyes part of the time when I drive. I never had the sunshade insert when I got the car. I want one.

Do any of you not use it? PM me or reply to this post and I will make you a good offer.

P.S. It does have to be black, but I am not even sure if they made tan ones anyway.

Thanks,
Joseph

Joesph, there is a 3rd gen Parts for Sale / Wanted section:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-parts-99/

Search in there, I'm sure you'll dig something up.

Thanks for the link. But..... this isn't something people would sell. Most people hold onto it like it is made of gold. Kinda like the stock front tower brace was about 4 or so years ago. You couldn't find them anywhere, and the factory wanted a grand for them.

Factory still wants 400 for them because it comes with the whole glass assembly and they some how can't sell it separate.

Thanks,
Joseph

Hey thanks! But I don't like that huge grin. Makes me think you will want a golden price for it.

Sorry...first I have to check if I even have 2 this weekend. If I do, TAMA has dibs. Even though I don't use it now, one day when I'm old and bald and my scalp is getting sunburnt, I'm gonna say "Damn I wish I kept one of those things." These things can't be THAT hard to find! I'm also curious as to how much Mazda charges for it (probably and arm and leg). Anyhow, I'm sure someone else would be willing to get rid of it. Next time someone is parting out a touring model, ****** it up. It probably will have been laying in their garage for centuries and they never even thought about it.

Well, not to hike the price up at all of the one I have dibs on, but the Mazda dealer yesterday got back to me. He says there is only one in the US. It is located in their Irvine, California warehouse.

Part # and price is : F114-69-890A SUN SHADE, SUNROOF $401 (69-911)

Sucks.
