Sun visor fix?

The little plastic dowels that hold the sun visors in have completely fallen apart.

Has anyone already worked out a solution for this, besides replacing the sun visor?

I was thinking ordering some plastic tube and putting it over the visor.

I measured it at about .370 OD and .230 ID for the original part.

I'm pretty **** about my interior, but i was just going to wrap the posts in a few layers of black electrical tape, figuring even I'd never notice it.

Your way is probably better.

I'm also curious to hear if this is a solved problem.

I actually have tan visors that the owner before me painted black. So I purchased a great condition black visor here on the forum with that very peace broken. So my fix was to make a cut down the middle the long way on the tan painted black peace and when I did it split in half. I then grabbed both half peaces and glued them very carefully to the black visor and its been good ever since.
