i am going to street port my motor and was wondering - FROM THE EXPERIENCED MOTOR BUILDERS AND PORTERS - are the templates used for say, a 12A or 13B 4port the same for a turbo motor? i know the ports are fairly large, so i am wondering if the template will be a good starting point, or if the stock port is just about the same size as my template? shed the light, o great ones. pics of ports would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The turbo motors are are 4 port motors.The 12a motors have smaller ports. There are varying degrees of street porting also. If you port to big you will eat into the water jacket and kiss the housing good by. Either get a porting template (Mazdatrix maybe?) or get help from someone who has done it before. It can be an expensive lesson if not done correctly.
