I still need help with reliablility

Okay guys, yes imma newbie, but im not a newbie to cars. Im currently 16 w/o a license, and ever since last september, i have been thinking on which car to get. I went all the way from civic si's to S2000 (lol way unrealistic, the S2k)..My recently strongest choice has been a 1995 nissan 240sx with a SR20DET engine swap. I then looked around a couple of cars, and found that a 3rd gen RX7 is cheap as hell and is one helluva sports car. The problem is all of this reliability mumbo-jumbo. Now, keep in mind i'm 16, and prolly for the first 1-2 years wont be too big of an expert on maintaining a car. Can you guys state what you think I should do. Go with the Rx7 or look else where. I've been veering away from the 240sx because its hard to pay for me, since i cant pay monthly for the engine swap, gotta be cold hard cash. I needa car that i can pay per month, and I can pay like up to 15k for a car, as longs as its per month and for like 3 years...I was looking at a 93+ supra but they r impossible to find under 25k..Can you guys please help me..don't flame me, i love cars and i dont want to me a wrong decision which will ultimatly screw me over.

Get a MR2 N/A or 240SX or Corolla AE 86. If you have $$, you can also get a Supra N/A.
