Street Racing in NJ

A friend of mines family owns an airport. I got the idea the other day to have races on the runway from like 1am to 2am on the weekends. Were gonna start doin it in a couple weeks. I have a 3rd gen, another one of my friend has a VR4, some with M3s, modded mustangs, a 99 911, ford lightning, and some other stuff. It should be pretty fun. If anyone wants to come race with us email me about it steveprew@hotmail.com. Its legal as far as i know, private property. The kid who owns the place has the 3000GT.

Also, I put a Apexi Dual N1 exhuast on my car. How much horspower do u guys think that gave me? (I am bone stock other than the catback)

Got runway lighting? Gonna be very dark and you'll be overdriving your headlights. Be sure to set up a quarter-mile marker(cones?) and allow lots of room for braking. Private Property.. no cop hassles other than maybe noise. Sounds like fun. You could create a road course also.

WHERE is this at?

Agreed on the runway lighting. We need to know when we begin to reach takeoff speeds

Bite me

Efforts to rewrite such sentences to place the preposition elsewhere can have stilted and even comical results, as Winston Churchill demonstrated when he objected to the doctrine by saying “This is the sort of English up with which I cannot put.” ·Sometimes sentences that end with adverbs, such as I don't know where she will end up or It's the most curious book I've ever run across, are mistakenly thought to end in prepositions. One can tell that up and across are adverbs here, not prepositions, by the ungrammaticality of I don't know up where she will end and It's the most curious book across which I have ever run. It has never been suggested that it is incorrect to end a sentence with an adverb.

that's an awesome idea if it were true but i wonder, i went and did this exact thing on an abandonded airport in south jersey. for the first weekend it was great non-stop racing although there wasn't much lighting which sucked. however the second time (when i luckily wasn't there) the cops came and gave everyone trespassing tickets. if this is for real and your friend actually owns the place i'd keep it quiet so it doesn't get anyone into trouble. check your mail even if it's a long drive for me i'd love to come check it out.

Well they can't really call it tresspassing if the owner Ok's it. Just probably want some form of a waiver so the owner doesnt get stuck with any problems that might arise.

dont worry guys

what kinda runway doesnt have lights, this one does, real cool ones too, all sorts of colors and ****. yea we would have to have a car towards the end so drivers would no when to start braking. also this is for real, my friends father inherited the airport from his father, that type of thing. the airport is located in hunterdon county. email me for more details about it. steveprew@hotmail.com
