Lightbulb Stranger Things Have Happen (3k hes fix on my '95)

Thought I'd share since some of you still run some version of the stock ECU (me, I have a piggyback).

I've tried everything I've read to get rid of the 3k hesitation (fp resistor, GND's, etc). Everyone's "hes" is different (for some reason), so I'll explain mine...non-existent when seq. with the 02 unplugged (don't bother telling me I need it, I've tired everything to make the O2 work with the piggyback...I'm currently running a 3-wire O2 and it doesn't work either, so the O2 has been unplugged for over a year, no ill effects and I even got 24mpg on an 8 hour road trip (no boost))...back to the current.

Full Non-seq, the "hes" would occur at part throttle as vac becomes boost anywhere between 3k up to 4k. I've tried tuning it out with fuel and timing; no dice. (Unrelated problem, the PMS stopped holding constant boost after the conversion, WG vent values would creep up after a couple WOT runs...VERY annoying.) Solution - Hallman's RX-Pro. Simple install, looks clean, simple to tune, room to grow (easily over 15psi if supported).
sorry for focus...I've dropped my camera too many times

After the install, I went screaming around the streets to adjust. Once tuned to 10psi, I just went screaming around the streets Things I noticed is the transition from vac-boost is a lot smoother, than the stocker WG solenoid...almost like the stock ECU was hesitant to say, "Yep, this **** is about to GET IT!!!" and dump some fuel...maybe something to do with the WG SV, I really don't know. What I do know is, I'm running without the PC and WG SV hooked up and I tried my hardest to replicate the "hes" I had before and couldn't do it. Is it a fix??? I don't know, did it work for me? Yes. Was I trying to fix it? Not at the time. Is the PMS out dated and crappy? Yes. Do I make good power with it? Yes. Is my car fun to drive? For me it is Do I pass emissions? yes.

props to whoever followed me thru all that...man, it's early.

kool,
I never solved mine until I went to the PowerFC.
stock ecu, pettit ecu, grounding kit.. all hesitated the same.

Man we have similiar mods, but damn.. your engine bay is crazy clean. What did you use? I cant seem to get the 'baked' crud off the white paint in there.

where'd you get the red throttle cable covers? (i think that's what they are... lurking around the throttle body)

That's the "other" solution...

Thanks for taking notice! Low mile '95 is key for a clean bay I use Simple Green when I do detail it though.

Actually I just split the largest diameter silicon hose left over from my hose job...It's kind of cheesy but looks better than my worn throttle cables.
