Strange problem with my FD.
Ok today, I was driving my car for like half a day. It was 88 degreez outside, My temp on the car was like 180/190. When i came home, I let it idle for 3 min and then i shut it off.
Two hours later, I started it, The temp was reading 150. And i smelled fuel, i went back and i saw that from the catback there is some kind of smoke coming, I don't know if it was blue or black, and the tip looked wet. It looked like oil to me, i'm not that sure.
When i started to drive it, it went away and it didn't smoke at wot, or slow driving or anything.
Now my question is, what could this be? I'm affraid that it might be my turbos, but they were rebuilded 30k's ago. So i'm not really sure what might be. I also get a lot of backfiring, so maybe it's runing a little rich.
Also I don't know if it's couse i installed my apexi intake, so maybe it's sucking hot air, or something. Can someone please tell me what you guys think or if anyone had a similar problem.
Thanks guys

Depends what it smelled like. White smoke could mean a clogged cat usually associated with running rich for a while. Just run your car for a bit and you'll burn it off. If you smell coolant from the exhaust, you're in for a new engine. Best of luck, that's my 2 cents anyway. By the way, with those mods, what ECU or piggyback are you using?

BTW, most people experience some dark wet stuff shooting out of the exhaust for a few seconds after starting the car. It's usually just moisture in the exhaust system being kicked out. It will be a dark, oil looking type moisture (instead of clear water) since FD tend to run on the rich side.

It smelled like fuel or oil, and the smoke was kind of blue/black. It only happend for a few seconds and it went away.
And by the way i'm still on the stock ecu, And i'm runing 11psi.
