Strange Clicking Sound Solved...
A month after brining home my new baby this summer (purchased in NC) there was a strange clicking sound from the right side of the car. Would happen mostly when the car was traveling slowly. First thoughts were stone in tire, brakes, heat shield, wheel bearings, etc, etc.
Couldn't figure it out until yesterday. Rear tire flat, pulled it off. Previously the tire was fixed witha plug which was visible. As I was rolling the tire something could be heard inside (first clue). Put on the temp spare and went to fix the flat with my other car.
Tire pulled off and out drops a drill bit. So if they drill out your tire for a flat repair watch out for lost drill bits!

Maybe the drill bit is what caused the hole in the first place as it penetrated the tire...
They then plugged the tire and left the bit inside.
