Strange Clicking noise at WOT

For the past week or so ive been having some strange boost issues, sometimes the car will hold strong 10-8-10, other times it will overboost on the primary and get 11-8-10, and then once in a while the secondary and primary will overboost with a 11-8-11 pattern. The main thing that i dont understand is why i randomly hear this ticking sound at WOT. Its not a constant noise but it sounds like a "click"------"click" with a pause between it. The clicks seem to happen at an interval like something is trying to open but cannot. Ive done a visual inspection and checked vaccum hoses etc and everything looks ok. I havent had time to test solenoids, T into lines etc. Im just looking for a possible cause or something to at least start from as I really dont know. Thanks in advance.

do you have an aftermarket boost controller? the solonoid should only "click" once when getting on boost. i would start there. I could be wrong but im just throwing you a bone here since nobody else is responding to your thread.

No aftermarket controller, the car is mostly stock. Only have a catback and intercooler hardpipes right now as far as power mods go. Also it has had a silicon vaccum lines installed so its not that old rubber junk.
