I've had this happen as well (only twice to be exact). For me it only happens when I've been working on my car for an extended period of time (when I start a few projects, but don't finish them for 2-3 weeks).

Does this happen every time you start your car?

This happens to me on occasion when I step on the gas too soon to lower the RPM's or have the car in gear when I start it.

Make sure that the car is in neutral and let it fully spool up before you step on the gas to lower the RPM's. If this doesn't fix it let us know.

push in the clutch and start the car with the gearshift lever in first, see if you have the same problem - this will avoid the neccesity to blip the throttle to come down in the rpms..
