Find that hard to believe in Nth America. Orange silicon textile, wire reinforced tube, commonly called horse's **** over here....goes by Scat or Skeet depending on whether just an external or an additional internal layer is applied - usually considered to be the stuff to use, if that's what you're talking about. An airport or your favourite race supplier should stock it.

Ventilation or A/C suppliers should have a similar product in aluminised and neoprene tube too which will be cheaper.

I'm not talking about tubing, i'm talking about the plates for the hub and ducts that feed it.

I used the N-Tech backing plates. Not sure if Nick is doing them anymore, but any decent race shop should be able to make you some, they're relatively straightforward. For the nose, I use generic plastic inlet scoop/duct w/ hose outlet that's commonly sold at Baker and Pegassas racing type places, with rubber bulb sealer from McMaster to close it around the opening.
