and yes i have searched!!! anyways me and my friend nick spend a majority of tonight trying to fix why his car wasnt getting boost past 5k rpms.... its like it hits 10 at 3500ish then it drop to 8 then it just dies off after that?!?! what the heck what is wrong with this? i check all vaccum lines and replaced a few vaccum lines on the acutator on the y-charge pipe... any ideaS?!? i checked all vaccum lines and they looked good!

 

since it is a problem with the secondary there is a problem with the turbo control system. Could be under the UIM, could be a check valve. I consider this site standard reading, don't know if you've been there or not: http://home.istar.ca/~dvandit/turbocharger.htm

 

could be the turbo control actuator...Id bet on that...check the boost...see if its holding boost....then check that actuator.

 

alright cool we hooked up a boost guage agian same thing ..... 10psi at 3k... 8 at 4 then boom dead no more boost thanks for the help guys ill be checking everything tomarrow!
