Are the stock sensors accurate for the PLX R-500?
This question stems from the reading i've done on the PLX R-500.
I know that the ECU receives it's data from the various sensors around the engine, and that the stock guages are not always accurate.
I just purchased stand alone temp and oil pressure gauges, and was thinking, what if I just buy the PLX and wire it into the cars ecu and take my readings from there. Everything the ECU does is based off what those sensors tell it.
The R-500 also comes with wide band and EGT, which eventually I plan on installing plus has a 90 minute datalog ability.
In short,
Would those stock senders be accurate enough, assuming they were in good condition, to use the PLX as my only aftermarket gauge set?
Thanks and please don't hurt me.
