Stock seat confusion..

Can anyone post pictures of the seat types for stock FD. I was told that my base model has R seats in it. It made me worry that the car may have been damaged before. Thankfully I found it has a clean title but could not contact previous owner to ask questions.Thanks...G.

The R1 and R2 models had a suede like cloth for seats...black.

All others had leather...it may be that the previous owner switched seats out...not uncommon.

R1/R2 have suede-like cloth that's either black or gray.

Base has black cloth.

Touring has leather.

Most likely, someone swapped the seats on your car with the base cloth ones. The base cloth ones MAY last a bit longer than the suede-like cloth.

Thumbs up

The seats in there now are are black cloth. They appear to have a checkerboard pattern or stitch.

That's the stock cloth seat for the base then, not the R1/R2 seats.
