Personally, I've never heard of that. AFAIK, the only problem with the stock radiator is with the end tanks, which are plastic and can develope cracks over time from general fatique. But nothing related to "extreme cornering".

The radiator attaches to the sway bar mounts, and the sway bar mounts aren't the most sturdy parts. But, they typically only have problems if they are hit or if you are using the car VERY hard, like time on a real race track. Doing autocross shouldn't hurt things. Even if the sway bar bracket is damaged, I don't believe I've heard of radiators breaking - it is theoretically possible, but far from common.

Also, I'm assuming from your post that you're relatively new to autocrossing and racing. If so, it will be quite some time until you're at the level where you'd worry about damaging a sway bar mount.

Go out and autocross and have a great time.

I have twisted and pummeled many stock swaybar brackets and never once hurt the radiator.

The stock brackets are known to fail from stress but it won't harm the radiator. Hell, I managed to do this and the radiator was fine (I use a stock radiator).
