Question Stock Oil Cooler Line Replacement

Hey guys,

I have a JDM FD with the dual oil coolers with a VMount setup. Lately, the view of the hard oil lines in the engine bay has been bothering me.

I'd like to eventually replace the coolers but would like to do the upgrade incrementally. I've been spending a lot of the FD lately, and I'd like to avoid dishing out the full cost of coolers, thermostat, lines & fittings now. I think this could be done with a few extra metric to AN fittings for the coolers themselves.

That said, has anyone just replaced the oil hard lines on a stock cooler setup?

Thanks
T

It's an old thread somewhere, I did the same thing on my car ages ago. I had to get rid of the stock R2 hard lines since they were in the way of my intercooler setup.

You'll probably be in for $300 or so for lines, AN fittings, tools, etc.

I've had this setup for 8-10 years now and (knock on wood) it has been rock solid.

OK, I had to find the thread
