stock injector/fuel system questions

I am about to send out my stock injectors to be cleaned and I am wondering if I should have them bored while I am at it. I wish to change the FPR(stock) and possibly the FPD while I am at it. I have a PFC so the capability to adjust the injector size is taken care of but I do have the stock fuel pump. So this is my question. Can I safely have the injectors enlarged without changing the fuel pump?

In the future I am sure I will be upgrading the fuel pump to handle future mods (400ish HP max) but at this moment do not have have any immediate plans to change power. Just figured while they are out might as well bore them if possible.

When pushing bored out injectors to higher duty cycles, you will need a better fuel pump. However, if you are just swapping in the injectors without upping the boost levels, there's no reason to HAVE to upgrade the pump. After all, you're still flowing the same amount of fuel!

Agreed. If you are planning to flow the same amount of fuel at the same pressure, there is no need for a bigger fuel pump -- you haven't changed it's job at all. Upgrade now and then do the pump later when you are ready to run more boost.
