stock ic piping
stock ic piping
ive done some searching but havent come up with anything definitive. i currently have a core i will be using for a smic setup and i was wondering if the stock ic piping is fine, w/o cracks is it safe to you at above stock boost levels? the piping im talking about is the one that connects to the throttlebody and the one that comes off the turbos. i know i will have to have piping made to connect to the end tanks.
also will running 14lbs of boost crack the stock piping?

The stock plastic cross-over tube and inlet elbow are fine to handle 14 psi...the only thing you have to worry about is cranking down the clamps on the couplers too hard and cracking them.
If you do crack them, a solution is only an Efini Y-pipe, a Greddy Elbow, and a short piece of tubing away...
